JourneyTeam is looking for an Adoption Specialist. As part of our Adoption and Change Management (ACM) Practice, you will lead the people side of change-ensuring successful engagement, adoption, and sustained usage of Microsoft solutions across our customer base. You'll work as an integral member of project teams, partnering directly with stakeholders, sponsors, and team members to drive effective change management strategies related to business processes, systems, and technology.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Facilitate the definition of overall project goals and success criteria and establish clear success markers; monitor and improve success measures to maximize customer impact.
  • Demonstrate and measure the value of change management for each customer.
  • Initiate adoption and change conversations; develop and implement engagement, adoption, and usage plans.
  • Implement strategies that maximize employee adoption, minimize resistance, and ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Integrate adoption and change management activities into project delivery in partnership with project managers.
  • Conduct impact analyses, assess change readiness, and identify key stakeholders.
  • Develop and execute change management plans (Success, Sponsor, People Manager, Communications, Training) and supporting assets.
  • Maintain accurate daily time tracking and achieve a 75% utilization rate, with a 90-day ramp-up period.
  • Build strong relationships and provide coaching to internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
  • Partner with project managers to define key milestones and clarify adoption-related roles and responsibilities.
  • Contribute to the evolution of how JourneyTeam delivers ACM.
  • Experience with Microsoft implementation projects is a plus.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience implementing adoption and change management strategies for technology and product rollouts.
  • Strong understanding of Organizational Change Management (OCM) principles, methodologies, and tools.
  • Exceptional communication, facilitation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build trust and influence stakeholders at all organizational levels.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Solid business acumen and awareness of organizational dynamics and challenges.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, professional services (consulting) environment.
  • Technical aptitude and willingness to learn new technologies.
  • Certification in a recognized change management methodology (e.g., Prosci) is a plus.
  • Experience with Microsoft implementation projects is a plus.

First Year:

30-Days:
  • Communicate onboarding needs and clarify role expectations and project assignments.
  • Quickly onboard by engaging with several active projects, owning them as Change Manager.
  • Learn JourneyTeam's culture, values, and strategic objectives through collaboration with project teams and stakeholders.
  • Deepen your familiarity with Microsoft technologies implemented across projects, including Dynamics 365, Microsoft 365, Azure, and Copilot.
  • Begin building relationships with key internal and external partners.
  • Conduct initial change readiness assessments and identify opportunities for improvement within assigned projects.
6-Months:
  • Facilitate adoption and change activities in projects, gaining exposure to multiple technologies implemented at JourneyTeam.
  • Engage with customers and projects with increased complexity.
  • Shadow pre-sales resources on pre-sales process providing feedback when necessary.
  • Consistently achieve 75% utilization rate and advocate for resolution on barriers encountered.
1-Year:
  • Engage in pre-sales activities to sell ACM projects or projects with ACM included.
  • Support onboarding of new ACM team members and organizational education on ACM.
  • Build pricing models for small, medium, and large projects.
  • Consistently maintain 75% utilization rate or greater.
Compensation:

$100,000 - $120,000 annual salary + performance-based bonus program. Eligibility and payout are tied to individual contributions, team performance, and company success.

This is the established pay range for the Adoption Specialist role at JourneyTeam. Actual compensation is dependent on demonstrated skills, relevant experience, and alignment with the role's responsibilities. In general, new employees can expect to start at the lower end of the range (with opportunity to grow and expand within the organization).
