Preferred Care - Job Description: Nursing Home company is seeking a new regional admissions director. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth admission process for residents into our nursing home facility. You will serve as the primary point of contact for prospective residents and their families, guiding them through the admissions process with empathy, professionalism, and expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Admissions Coordination: Manage the entire admissions process from initial inquiry to move-in, ensuring a seamless transition for residents and their families.
  2. Assessment and Evaluation: Conduct thorough assessments of prospective residents to determine their care needs and eligibility for admission, collaborating with healthcare professionals as needed.
  3. Documentation and Compliance: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of admissions paperwork, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
  4. Financial Counseling: Provide guidance to residents and their families on financial matters related to admission, including insurance coverage, payment options, and assistance programs.
  5. Communication and Relationship Building: Build strong relationships with residents, families, healthcare professionals, and community partners to promote the nursing home and its services.
  6. Marketing and Outreach: Collaborate with marketing teams to develop strategies for promoting the nursing home and attracting new residents.
  7. Customer Service: Ensure that residents and their families receive exceptional customer service throughout the admissions process, addressing any concerns or issues promptly and effectively.
  8. Team Collaboration: Work closely with the nursing home's interdisciplinary team, including nursing staff, social workers, and administrators, to coordinate admissions and provide comprehensive care to residents.
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in admissions, healthcare administration, or a similar role in a nursing home or healthcare setting.
  • Strong knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and private insurance regulations related to nursing home admissions.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Compassion, empathy, and a genuine commitment to serving the needs of elderly residents and their families.
