Position Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Admissions and Marketing Manager (AMM) to lead the school's enrollment efforts. The AMM will oversee the entire admissions cycle-from outreach and marketing to application processing and enrollment. This person will play a key role in shaping the public face of the school and fostering meaningful relationships with prospective families.
This is a high-impact, high-visibility role requiring both strategic thinking and hands-on implementation. The ideal candidate brings a blend of creativity, professionalism, and a deep appreciation for Montessori education.
Key ResponsibilitiesAdmissions
- Lead prospective families through the admissions process from inquiry to enrollment.
- Schedule and conduct personalized tours of the school.
- Organize and manage admissions events (e.g., Open Houses, conference booths, info sessions).
- Serve as the initial reviewer of student applications and communicate next steps with families.
- Track leads and follow up via phone, email, text, and social media to maintain engagement.
- Create monthly enrollment reports for the Head of School and Board of Trustees.
Marketing
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to increase visibility and support enrollment goals.
- Ensure visual and promotional materials align with Montessori values and the school's mission.
- Manage school marketing efforts across digital and print platforms (e.g., website, social media, flyers).
- Collaborate with school leadership to align marketing campaigns with broader strategic goals.
- Monitor and analyze marketing metrics to refine outreach and messaging.
Community Engagement
- Serve as a liaison to alumni and support alumni engagement efforts.
- Partner with faculty to ensure the school building remains visually consistent with Montessori principles.
- Represent WMS at community events, fairs, and professional networks (e.g., AMS, AISAP).
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required; background in education, marketing, communications, or a related field preferred.
- 2-4 years of experience in admissions, enrollment management, or marketing-ideally in an educational or nonprofit setting.
- Passion for Montessori education and a child-centered philosophy.
- Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills; able to connect with diverse families.
- Proficiency with digital tools such as email marketing platforms, social media management, Google Workspace, and basic CMS or CRM systems.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
