Administrator/Senior Secretary - Employee Engagement

An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Employee Engagement Team for an enthusiastic and experienced Senior Administrator. The post holder will be an integral member of the team, providing high-level administrative support to the Employee Engagement team and its programmes of work.

Main duties of the job

This key role requires:

  1. Excellent administration, communication, and organisational skills
  2. Advanced proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams
  3. Management of diaries, meetings, and workshops
  4. Setting up and maintaining digital file directories
  5. Welsh language skills are desirable; applications from English and Welsh speakers are equally welcome

Person Specification Qualifications & Knowledge
  • RSA III / NVQ 3 Qualification or equivalent experience
  • In-depth knowledge of secretarial procedures, organisational policies, plans, regulations, and operational procedures
  • Advanced skills in word processing, spreadsheets, and presentation software
  • Ability to take minutes
Experience
  • Experience providing comprehensive administrative or PA services at a high level
  • Experience setting up and using filing and IT systems
  • Familiarity with office procedures and deadlines
Aptitude and Abilities
  • Ability to work independently and make decisions
  • Excellent customer care skills
