Summary You will serve as an ADMINISTRATIVE/TECHNICAL SPECIALIST in the ACQUISITION POLICY/OVERSIGHT DIVISION within the CONTRACTS DEPARTMENT of NAVUNSEAWARCENDIV KEYPORT WA. The Secretary of Defense has ordered a department-wide hiring freeze subject to certain limited exceptions. This position is subject to the DoD hiring freeze. Responsibilities You will serve as an administrative specialist to the Department level leadership and staff performing a wide variety of support and administrative duties and responsibilities. You will serve as the command's Contractor Performance Assessment Reporting System (CPARS) focal point and assessable unit manager. You will provide weekly/monthly status reports to management which will include metrics analysis on reporting status and completions and provide guidance to assigned government and contractor personnel. You will serve as the Department's training coordinator and records management coordinator. You will respond to various inquiries, requests, and administrative concerns and review and disseminate both incoming and outgoing correspondence. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications For the NT-03: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower pay band NT-02 (GS-5-8 equivalent) in the Federal service, or in the public or private sector providing administrative support to improve tracking and analysis of a contracting or training program. For the NT-02: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower pay band NT-01 (GS-1-4 equivalent) in the Federal service, or in the public or private sector applying basic principles of administrative support for the tracking and analysis of a program. Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. Education The following education may be substituted for specialized experience at the NT-03: A master's or equivalent graduate degree. OR Two full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree. OR LL.B. or J.D. degree that is related to the position being filled. OR A combination of experience and graduate education as described above that equates to one year of experience. The percentage of the required education plus your percentage of the required experience equal one hundred percent. The following education may be substituted for specialized experience at the NT-02: Four year course of study leading to a bachelor's degree. OR A combination of experience and education as described above that equates to one year of experience. The NT-3 pay band encompasses positions equivalent to the GS-9 and GS-10. The NT-2 pay band encompasses positions equivalent to the GS-5 through GS-8.
