Full job description
Major Home Health Care Agency located in Queens, NY is looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Administrative Support Specialist to join its team. The ideal candidate will provide a wide range of administrative and clerical support to ensure the smooth and efficient functioning of day-to-day operations. This role requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities:

Perform general administrative duties, including filing, and completing forms.
Enter data into databases accurately and in a timely manner.
Ensure accuracy of data entry by comparing information with source material.
Communicate effectively with all staff, aides, and management.
Assist with data entry, data scanning, and photocopying.
Manage incoming and outgoing faxes for employment verification.
Provide customer service by responding to inquiries, requests and complaints.
Ensure all work is conducted in accordance with company compliance policies and procedures.
Provide assistance to other departments as needed, supporting company-wide initiatives.
Qualifications:

Proven experience in administrative support or office management.
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
Accurate data entry abilities.
Ability to quickly learn new tasks.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to handle multiple tasks with a high level of accuracy.
Professional demeanor and a customer-service-oriented mindset.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Time-management skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
Languages required: Cantonese and Mandarin
Computer skills required: MS office
