Job Description

Manage cadet personnel actions for approximately 15,000 cadets supporting 4 Regions and 145 Detachments IAW procedures outlined in AFROTCI36-2011 V3, Cadet Operations, Volume 3, and DAFMAN36-2032, Military Recruiting and Accessions. Manage and process congressional commissioning appointment authority for applicants along with personnel records for Air Force Institute of Technology (DAFIT), Senior Leader Enlisted Commissioning Program (SLECP), and Nursing Enlisted Commissioning Program (NECP) students. Enroll SLECP and NECP students into WINGS and complete appropriate administrative actions.

Monitor and update cadet pay and scholarship actions, oversee special waiver requests, and process. Process, review, and provide recommendations for scholarship applications and awards. Oversee Initial Flying Class/Medical Flight Screening Program; coordinate with applicable organizations for scheduling. Communicate, coordinate, and deconflict with customers, organizations, and senior leaders on program execution, management, reporting, and metrics. Support the development, deployment, troubleshooting and utilization of Microsoft 365 tools to include Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, and SharePoint for both desktop and mobile applications. Utilize Power Apps to build custom business apps for AFROTC.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's of Arts or Science with 2 years of experience
  • Demonstrated knowledge of AFROTC structure and its supporting elements, programs, missions, policies, and goals.
  • Skilled in applying analytical and evaluative methods and techniques to a broad range of functional areas.
  • Knowledge of pertinent laws such as Title 9 U.S.C., and Title 10 U.S.C., regulations such as DoD and Air Force Instructions, policies, and precedents that affect the AFROTC Training program.
  • Skilled with all Microsoft Office products, including Outlook, Power Automate, Power Apps, Teams, and SharePoint.
  • Previous experience utilizing AFROTC WINGS programs and familiarity with AFROTCI 36-2011 Vol. III is preferred.
  • Able to pass a favorable background check
Additional Information
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen and eligible to work on Government contracts.
  • Must be able to obtain a Common Access Card (CAC).
