Work Schedule: Monday - Friday. Hours are 12:30PM to 5:00PM

JOB SUMMARY: Goodwill Staffing is looking for someone with experience in administrative support. To provide excellent customer service to all stakeholders, to serve as the first impression of Goodwill of Colorado to internal and external stakeholders both in person and through the phone system, to direct visitors and callers to the appropriate personnel who can assist them with their need(s), and to act in a polite, calm and efficient manner in all situations. ("Stakeholders" refers to employees, program participants, donors, guardians/caregivers, board members, customers, government agencies/officials, funding sources, suppliers, etc.)
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: - Act as the first point of contact for all callers, visitors to the Garden of the Gods facility
- Greet visitors, including but not limited to:
- Maintain security by having guests sign in, issue guest badges, and contact appropriate personnel for escort
- Determine guest needs and respond appropriately
- Answer numerous incoming calls on computer-based phone system and transfer to appropriate personnel in a pleasant and efficient manner
- Sort incoming mail from USPS and courier; postmark outgoing mail
- Sort interoffice mail
- Maintain out of office staff list
- Sign for packages/deliveries and contact appropriate personnel for pick up
- Accounting related duties:
- Process accounts payable checks for mailing and intercompany distribution
- Track distribute payroll checks picked up that require I.D. and signatures, and collect company property as requested
- Document payroll checks mailed and payroll checks returned in the mail
- Maintain postage meter, ordering postage when needed
- Maintain stamp drawer and petty cash box
- Keep track of Lost and Found items
- Maintain safe and clean reception area Provide training to employees/volunteers as backups for the front desk as needed

Education:
- A High School diploma or equivalent is preferred.
Experience:
- Two (2) years minimum experience in a position involving contact with the public and working with a multi-line phone system.
- To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
- Clerical and accounting skills desired.

Other:
- Assist supervisor and various departments with other clerical tasks and/or special projects as needed
- Maintain notes to ensure an easy transition between shifts
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook required.
- Must possess excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Position requires sitting for extended periods and using a computer keyboard for a minimum of four hours each day. Must be physically able to carry weight and stand/stoop when filing.
