Administrative Support Coordinator to join our team. This multi-functional role supports several departments and agencies within our home health agency, including Intake, Scheduling, Human Resources, Reception, and general Administration. The ideal candidate will also assist with order management, software troubleshooting, and cross-departmental coverage as needed. This is a dynamic position perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has prior experience in home health care.
Responsibilities: - Intake & Scheduling Support:
- Assist with new patient intake, ensuring all required documentation is completed and accurate
- Coordinate and confirm scheduling for field staff and clinicians
- Communicate with patients, families, and referral sources in a timely and professional manner
- Administrative & Reception Duties:
- Provide front-desk reception coverage, answering phones and greeting visitors
- Support general office operations including filing, faxing, copying, and scanning documents
- Handle data entry and maintain accurate records in agency systems
- HR & Staff Support:
- Assist with onboarding new staff, collecting required credentials, and tracking renewals
- Maintain employee files and support the HR team with administrative tasks
- Order Management:
- Obtain physician orders and signatures for services and updates
- Ensure all medical documentation complies with regulatory standards and deadlines
- Tech & Software Troubleshooting:
- Provide basic technical support for scheduling, EMR, and office systems
- Coordinate with IT or vendors when issues require escalation
- Floating Support:
- Step into various roles across departments and agencies when coverage is needed
- Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless operations and continuity of care
Qualifications: - Prior experience in a home health care setting strongly preferred
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable with EMR systems
- Ability to problem-solve and work independently
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy
- High school diploma or equivalent (required); associate or bachelor's degree a plus
Job Type: Full-Time and Onsite
Pay: $22 -$25 an hour
Schedule: Monday to Friday
