Physical Requirements:The physical requirements of this position include: occasionally transporting objects up to 25lbs; regularly using a computer workstation for extended periods of time with repetitive motions (such as typing); work with individuals from various backgrounds; provide superior customer service; and learn complex systems and protocols requiring ability master related law, regulations, and policies.
Shift:Monday - Friday; 8:00 am - 5:00 pm (40 hours/week); and may be required to work overtime from time to time. We do provide limited staffing between Christmas and New Year's Day.
Job Summary:The Administrative Support Associate I (Payroll Authorization Record (PAR) Processor) will work within HR Compensation's office. As a partner to colleges and departments, the PAR Processor counsels and trains staff on correct procedures for completion of documents and entries into SAP. This position will also assist in the processing and review of all payroll documents and transactions to ensure employees are paid in timely manner; assist in ensuring compliance with University policies and procedures; and provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers at all times.
Skills / Knowledge / Abilities:The ideal candidate will have the ability to manage multiple tasks and/or projects while accurately completing routine functions in a fast paced, high intensity, professional work environment; knowledge of SAP; proficient in Microsoft Office; excellent attention to detail; exceptional planning and organizational skill; effective written and verbal communication skills; ability to solve routine problems and manage resources; demonstrated ability to provide superior customer service, time management, and judgment; and respect for confidentiality and diversity.

Preferred Education/Experience:Associates degree and experience with SAP preferred.
