We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Administrative Support Assistant to assist with a variety of clerical and support tasks during a busy period. This position is ideal for someone who is efficient, proactive, and comfortable with both independent and team-based work. The assistant will support multiple departments and staff members including coordinators, the director, and administrative personnel.
Job Responsibilities:
- Document Management:
- Scan and archive old documents for coordinators, director, and administrative staff.
- Assist with archiving enrollment forms and prepare older files for shredding (including TCP documentation).
- Book Order Assistance:
- Support the TCP book ordering process by researching ISBN numbers and costs.
- Compile and add information to the upcoming Fall book order.
- Event Preparation and Coordination:
- Assist in preparation for the Success Seminar, including creating folders, making copies, and printing schedules.
- Track RSVP responses and follow up with students who have not responded.
- Contact students who have not attended orientation and invite them to the final July session.
- Office Support:
- Assist with organizing tasks during departmental office swaps.
- Provide backup phone coverage during staff meetings.
Minimum and Additional Requirements- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Comfortable making phone calls and following up with students
- Basic computer skills including familiarity with email, spreadsheets, and document scanning
- Positive attitude and willingness to help
