DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Performs a variety of clerical, secretarial, and other administrative functions required for the operation of the department.
  • Maintains and uses information in databases and maintains accurate files and records.
  • Maintains spreadsheets, tracks budgets, processes payroll for department.
  • Works cooperatively, effectively, and professionally with students, parents/guardians, administrators, and the general public.
  • Maintains confidentiality of student and program information.
  • Possesses physical dexterity to perform assigned duties.
  • Performs related work as required.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
  • Requires a high school diploma or GED.
  • Thorough knowledge of standard office procedures, practices and equipment.
  • Ability to operate and perform tasks on standard office equipment; computers, fax, telephone, printers, copiers, etc
  • Good communication and human relation skills.
  • Requires excellent typing skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office software (Word/Excel), preferably in a Macintosh environment.
  • Ability to learn new software applications.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other employees and the general public.
