Privately owned corporation, serving Las Vegas & the neighboring communities since 1996. We sell and install carpet, hardwood, laminate, luxury vinyl plank, tile and stone for both residential and commercial projects.

We are seeking a project assistant for a demanding, fast paced office. The potential candidate is looking for a long term career, not just another job. The day to day responsibilities include interacting with our customers, which include general contractors, insurance adjusters and homeowners. This position is responsible for overseeing the planning and completion of flooring projects. This position will coordinate with other departments to ensure the execution of the work goes smoothly while providing daily updates to all projects being managed including daily photo updates from the installer, signed field authorizations, change order documentation and back-up, competitions forms, and warranty letters to the customer.

The ideal candidate will have knowledge of the flooring industry, as well as a construction background. Although neither are a requirement, having at least 1 of the 2 would be of great benefit. We are looking for a self- starter, someone who is well organized, provides outstanding customer service, and follows through.

Although not an all-inclusive list, the following are some of the duties and expectations for this position:

Excellent verbal and written communications with GCs, customers and vendors for various needs

Assisting customers with their flooring selections

Appointment setting

Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously

Processing the necessary paperwork for all orders and installs

Works with the customer from beginning to end of the sale by communicating in a timely and professional manner on all requests or concerns

Following up with your customer after completion of the job

Using computer database to research availability of merchandise and to process orders

Stay up to date on the wide selection of products we offer, along with specifications and warranties provided by each

Works effectively with other employees

Provide a high level of customer service

Building client relationships

Qualifications, skills and abilities we're seeking include:

Self-motivated and internally driven to excel in your position and career

Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Must have strong knowledge Microsoft Office programs and be willing to learn our operating system

Professionalism, to include dependability, accountability, and punctuality

Time management skills for juggling multiple (and sometimes competing) deadlines and deliverables

Xactimate estimating experience is a plus but not required

Bilingual, Spanish speaking strongly preferred but not required

Pay: $19.00 - $25.00 per hour

Schedule:

8 hour shift

Monday to Friday & 1 Saturday a month (6 hours)
