POSITION SUMMARY:

The Administrative Operations Coordinator is responsible for the coordination of the receptionist/medical records area in the GI department. The Administrative Operations Coordinator assists the Business Manager, as directed, with day-to-day operations and needs of the front desk, check out, and phone room to provide optimal customer service. Assists in determining daily staffing requirements to provide optimal patient care and efficiency. Attracts, trains, develops, and motivates qualified personnel.

QUALIFICATIONS:

High school diploma or equivalent, required; College degree or two (2) years of prior healthcare and supervisory experience, required; Willingness to assign high priority to patient comfort and satisfaction; Highly organized and detail oriented; particularly in regard to time management; Ability to prioritize key objectives while performing daily tasks as well as the ability to manage multiple duties simultaneously; Excellent written and verbal communication skills; Excellent interpersonal, negotiation and conflict resolution skills; Computer proficiency and technical aptitude with the ability to effectively utilize applicable electronic systems and programs; Must be able to work moderately independently and demonstrate initiative; Working knowledge of front office duties including telephone etiquette, cashiering, scheduling appointments, and making referrals; Working knowledge of scheduling personnel to provide assistance to physicians in a clinic setting; Preferred achievements include proficiency with reporting functions including Excel and various spreadsheet programs.

WORK SCHEDULE:

Monday - Friday, 8:00A.M. - 5:00P.M.
