THE POSITION

Join our Division of Budget and Procurement as an Administrative Officer 2 to help ensure our teams have the resources they need to reduce the human and economic impact of the disease of addiction.
DESCRIPTION OF WORK
The Administrative Officer 2 position will act as the Procurement Liaison for the Department. This position will monitor and oversee the Department's procurement resource account as well as process procurement requests for agency staff. You will also process solicitation and non-solicitation procurement; create shopping carts and purchase orders; process invoices; and prepare encumbrance adjustments, encumbrance liquidations, and other adjustments as needed. Our team will also rely on you to develop a reporting system to track procurement expenditures; provide technical assistance on contracting, budgeting, reporting, and procurement guidelines to office staff and other agencies; and provide backup to the other Administrative Officer 2s with the gambling program, procurement of training services, and the PA Overdose Prevention Program.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
• Full-time employment
• Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch.
• Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) full-time, with the exception of reporting to the office one day per month and for special events as necessary. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg.

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
• One year as an Administrative Officer 1 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration);
• Three years of experience in progressively responsible and varied office management or staff work, including experience in personnel management, budgeting, or procurement; and a bachelor's degree;
• Any equivalent combination of experience and training. Other Requirements:
