Administrative Director of Nursing

Position Overview:
The Clinical Supervisor is responsible for overseeing hospital operations during evenings, nights, and weekends. This includes managing inpatient units and all ancillary and support departments that are operational during these hours. The role is recognized as a key clinical leader, demonstrating excellent decision-making in the clinical setting and leading staff through change with fairness and consistency.

Key Responsibilities:
Direct and supervise hospital operations on evenings, nights, and weekends, ensuring smooth functioning of all inpatient and ancillary services.
Serve as a role model for clinical expertise, making prompt, quality decisions in clinical settings.
Lead and support staff through changes, maintaining a positive and energetic atmosphere.
Ensure consistent application of policies and contractual requirements, with fairness and attention to detail.
Effectively manage a variety of urgent issues or activities simultaneously.
Exhibit reliability and a strong work ethic, serving as a dependable presence for staff and motivating others.

Shift Notes:
32 hrs/week
Tuesday-Friday, 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM
Flexibility to work weekends and occasional nights as needed.

Weekend Requirements:
As needed, including holidays.

On Call Requirements:
None.

Qualifications:
Minimum of 1-2 years of successful leadership experience is strongly preferred.
Proven ability in conflict resolution and effective problem-solving.
Working knowledge of daily operations in an acute care medical center, including handling emergency/trauma and critical care situations.
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (required).
Documented evidence of continuing education and professional growth in healthcare and nursing.
Must be an RN .
Own vehicle required for this role.

ACLS (AHA)
BLS (AHA)

State License Requirements:
Massachusetts RN License (required).

Pay: $90.00 - $100.00 per hour
