POSITION SUMMARY:

Responsible forthe day-to-day project support and coordination for the Security departmentincluding administrative support. Assistsenior management and department managers with a broad range of activities,special events, and projects.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
  • Associate'sdegree and three (3) years' experience related to project management, publicadministration and/or executive administrative support or an equivalentcombination of education, training and experience. Experience in AirportSecurity and, government agency, legal firm or airport authority preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently
  • Project management and basic negotiation skills
  • Excellent people skills required to interact with Aviation Authority staff, executives, consultants, etc.
  • Proficient computer skills, with knowledge and skill in Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel and PowerPoint; experience with an electronic timekeeping system, Oracle Financial System, iPro, Box preferred
  • Typing 50 CWPM, transcription skills using a recorder or speed writing skills
  • Advanced organizational skills, attention to detail and administrative skills
  • Ability to manage multiple and simultaneous responsibilities and to prioritize scheduling of work
  • Demonstrated ability to work with confidential information and executive level matters
  • Ability to read and interpret contracts and agreements
  • Excellent oral andwritten communications skills in English including grammar and punctuationskills required
  • Valid Florida driver's license
