Responsibilities
  • You will provide technical and specialized professional and administrative duties for assigned investigative units, including preparing case folders, letters, and other documentation.
  • You will manage and direct the procurement and contracting for goods and services for OIE, including creating and completing shopping cart requests.
  • You will serve as the human resources liaison and time and leave administrator for OIE and assist with the coordination and registration of training and travel.
  • You will perform various administrative activities to support complaint analysts including uploading and scanning complaints, correspondence, and documentation into applicable systems.
  • You will prepare correspondence, memorandums, forms, and other documents to assist OIE leadership and will prepare and maintain reports, summaries, and data related to OIE activities.
  • You will perform other professional and administrative duties including, but not limited to, scheduling and coordinating meetings, responding to customer inquiries, receiving and distributing mail, and records retention.
Minimum and Additional Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
  • A high school diploma and relevant experience in business management, public administration, or administrative services (a bachelor's degree may be substituted for the required work experience).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of principles and practices of office management and general administrative functions.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Ability to exercise judgment and discretion in interpreting and applying relevant laws, regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Ability to understand and follow complex instructions.
  • Considerable skill in the use of office equipment, computers, and Microsoft products.
Other Requirements
  • Position works in an office environment with extended periods of sitting and standing.
  • Occasional work outside of normal office hours.
  • May be required to lift, carry, move and/or position objects weighing up to 25 lbs.
  • Daily filing, data entry, telephone and computer use.
