Priority Review Date (Note - Posting may close at any time) Job Summary The Part-Time Administrative Clerk will provide a wide range of administrative support functions for our team. The ideal candidate will be proactive, professional, and efficient, with a passion for supporting a collaborative and academic environment.
Responsibilities - Respond to departmental emails and general inquiries with clarity and professionalism
- Schedule meetings, reserve conference rooms, and assist with logistics for team meetings and events
- Support the onboarding and offboarding process for new employees and student staff
- Updating staff contact file, CHPC staff page, and floor directory
- Mail distribution
- Maintain accurate and organized filing systems (both digital and paper)
- Manage office supply inventory and liaise with vendors as needed
- Perform clerical duties including data entry, document preparation, and records management
- Handle confidential information with discretion and adhere to university privacy guidelines
- Assist in planning department events and conferences
- Ad-hoc requests
Minimum Qualifications One year of general office experience, or equivalency (one year of education can be substituted for two years of related work experience); effective communication skills, and a commitment to provide excellent customer service required.
A hiring department may require a minimum typing ability.
