Description


Support company mission and continued growth, as we are seeking a highly skilled and organized individual. The role will include taking responsibility for working with healthcare clients in navigating the complex process of obtaining licensure and certification in regulatory areas, typically known as the Certificate of Need (CON) process.


As an administrative associate, you will play a crucial role in assisting our clients in securing the necessary approvals for implementation of the desired program at multiple levels, including the introduction of new healthcare services.




Responsibilities



  • Conduct thorough analysis and evaluation of clients needs and services to determine the need for a Certificate of Need and in some cases the type of application process

  • Assist clients in developing comprehensive CON applications, including the collection and organization of all required documents and data. This would include but not limited to personal data, legal documents, architectural data from clients independently retained professionals

  • Research and stay up-to-date on applicable state and federal regulations pertaining to Certificate of Need requirements, including identifying and defining public need requirements

  • Prepare and submit CON applications to the appropriate regulatory agencies, ensuring compliance with all guidelines and deadlines

  • Collaborate with clients' legal counsel, architects, and other consultants to ensure the successful completion of CON projects

  • Provide guidance and support to clients throughout the CON process, and if necessary, including attending public hearings and addressing any concerns or objections raised by stakeholders

  • Monitor and track the status of CON applications, ensuring all necessary actions and follow-ups are taken in a timely manner

  • Provide ancillary services including guidance on completion of Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services enrollment applications

  • Answer and direct phone calls to appropriate parties Maintain office filing and storage systems.

  • Handle sensitive information in a confidential manner.

  • Schedule appointments and meetings for executives and other staff.

  • Other services as required to complete the tasks and needs of at the direction of others



Requirements



  • Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, public health, or a related field

  • In-depth knowledge of state and federal regulations governing Certificate of Need requirements

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex concepts in a clear and concise manner

  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines

  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications
