Performs administrative secretarial and general office duties according to the needs of the VP/Chief Nursing Officer and VP/Chief Executive Officer for the regional facilities. Creates visualization of data in Excel and creates worksheets for data analysis in Excel, specifically for the management of patient experience programs/projects. Composes, transcribes, and distributes correspondence, reports, records, policies, surveys, committee minutes, and any other material as designated by the executive team members. Makes appointments and screens telephone calls. Coordinates and schedules designated meetings. Makes and coordinates travel arrangements for assigned executive team members. Sorts and distributes incoming hospital mail. Creates and/or edits PowerPoint, Excel worksheets, and Word documents. Demonstrates knowledge and skills to appropriately communicate and interact with patients, families, and visitors of all age groups while being sensitive to their cultural and religious beliefs. Must be able to maintain strict confidence of the office of work. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Education/Skills:

Two years of college or other certificate of professional training is required. Must be able to type and be proficient in the full Microsoft Office Suite.

Work Experience:

Two years of experience in a business office or as a secretary is required, with preferred experience in office management and hospital administrative operations. Accounting background preferred.

Mental Demands:

Courtesy, diplomacy and cooperation in dealing with visitors and staff members, ability to work under pressure, give attention to detail, use mental and visual alertness, considerable initiative and judgment involved in assuming responsibility for routine matters, answering inquiries, and relieving Vice-President of clerical and minor executive duties.
