  • SUMMARY:

    To act as an administrative assistant to the Clinton County Joint Services Director of Exceptional Needs with specific responsibilities for student data management (CLSI, SBS Portal, Indiana IEP, Medicaid), report development and collaboration with the participating corporations for child count, compliance monitoring, and administrative purposes, and provide computer-based technical support to Joint Services staff and school district personnel.

    PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Maintain the CLSI and IIEP data to ensure information is available for the following activities:

    • Child count activities

    • Student rosters and directory information

    • Track all preschool and First steps referrals for compliance.

    • Monitor and input data into IIEP, SBS Portal, and CODA for annual case review schedules and re-evaluations

    • Input data for initial case conference and evaluation timelines monitoring information for compliance in all areas and for the state monitoring process with CLSI and IIEP programs.

    • Post Graduate Follow-Up data-based information for IDOE.

    • Other reports requested by the Director.

    • Proficient in Excel, data entry, and attention to detail is a must

    • Act as the liaison between Joint Services and the state STN and CLSI office and ensure that program updates occur in a timely manner.

    • Process all case conference reports in a timely manner.

    • Process all referrals for evaluations in a timely manner.

    • Process all reevaluations and permission forms in a timely manner.

    • Maintain student files in a format so that records are available to staff when needed.

    • Archive and purge files of students who have exited from the school programs according to Joint Services procedure within the CLSI and IIEP programs.

    • Provide technical support to staff on computer and technology questions and help connect staff to appropriate support when needed.

    • Provide technical support on any computerized software used for students.

    • Respond to school personnel, parents, and other persons in a professional and courteous manner, providing assistance or information as appropriate.

    • Answer telephone calls, direct the calls to the appropriate individual, and log messages as necessary.

    • Perform all other duties as assigned by the Director.
