Administrative Assistant to Directors

$22.44- $33.66 an hour - Full-Time Days, 40 hours per week
Boulder Community Health is seeking an Administrative Assistant to Directors who will provide support for several Directors to ensure efficient operations of the department. The person in this position demonstrates initiative, proficiency, and good judgment to optimize the use of the Director's time. Strong organizational and communication skills and a commitment to quality and excellence in service are important components of the role. Duties include scheduling, coordinating, and supporting meetings, managing multiple calendars, typing, data collection, tabulation and report generation, production of graphs, charts, presentation materials, and production of meeting minutes. This position interfaces with the public, the medical staff, department directors, employees, and members of the BCH leadership team. Must be detail-oriented, and able to multitask to meet deadlines and support special projects for each of the Directors.

Qualifications
• High school graduate required
• Undergraduate degree preferred
• Business and secretarial courses preferred
• Four or more years of experience as a mid-level, professional Administrative Assistant (or similar roles) required.
• Experience in a medical office or hospital setting preferred
Responsibilities
• Complete all administrative support tasks and special projects assigned by the Directors.
• Shares in daily distribution of departmental mail (including inter-departmental tube system)
• Keep the reception area, coffee bar, and copier/mail room neat and well maintained.
• Take messages, triage and return phone calls, coordinate and schedule meetings and align conference rooms and other resources as needed.
• Greet visitors, provide them with the necessary assistance, directions, and guidance. Provides some coverage of the front desk/lobby of the administrative offices.
• Use discretion and maintain confidentiality in all communications and assignments.
• Perform all duties associated with daily departmental open/close procedures, as scheduled.
• Collaborates with all Executive and Administrative Assistants in the pool to ensure comprehensive support for the Executives and Directors.
• Meets standards of professional and ethical conduct.
• Establishes and maintains effective professional working relationships with employees, volunteers, physicians, department directors, and the public.
