Until Filled Primary Job Functions: The Administrative Assistant to the Chief Financial Officer provides high-level administrative and data management support within the school district's finance department. This role requires strong organizational, communication, and technical skills to effectively manage calendars, track salary movements, maintain position control workflows, and support budgeting and reporting tasks. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, discretion with confidential information, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced educational environment.

Salary Lane: ADMNC - Hourly pay starting at $22.00.

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Assigned Workday Calendar: Year-Round

Job Status: Part-Time - 29 Hours per Week

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 5.8 Hrs Daily

Benefits: Part-time positions are eligible for supplemental benefits such as vision, life insurance, disability, etc. Eligible for PERF Retirement. (Not eligible for medical and dental insurance.)

Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in business administration, or a related field is preferred.
  • Certification: None is required.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within an educational setting.
  • Skills and Knowledge: Strong organizational and time management skills. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Proficiency in using computer software, including Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. High level of accuracy and attention to detail. Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Other: Ability to maintain a positive relationship with pupils, staff, parents, and the community.
Essential Functions:
  • Provide administrative support to the Chief Financial Officer include managing calendar, filing and answering phone calls.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date information on salary movement.
  • Maintain Position Control and Skyward Task Manager Account Employee Workflow Process.
  • Responsible for tracking of Staffing Budget Comprehensive sheet and Budget Assumptions.
  • Assist with updating Referendum Report Card.
  • Assist with Collective Bargaining Report.
  • Responsible for Summer School Estimated and Final Reports.
  • Maintain regular and functional attendance.
  • Work collaboratively with Human Resources department.
  • Be an example of exemplary adult behavior for students.
  • Project a genuine care and concern for all students.
  • Participate in professional development, as assigned.
  • Other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, and use hands to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to walk, reach with hands and arms, climb, balance and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance, vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to focus.
