ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Interact with students, parents, teachers, District staff, and the general public in a friendly, professional, and diplomatic manner.
  • Maintain confidentiality of all school-related matters.
  • Maintain and monitor confidential online records in an efficient and organized manner.
  • Make valid, independent decisions within assigned responsibilities.
  • Answer phones pleasantly and take accurate messages as needed.
  • Type memos and correspondence with skilled competence in Word, and Excel.
  • Have ability to multi-task often.
  • Develop and maintain an efficient and comprehensive filing system.
  • Demonstrate tact, empathy, and diplomacy in stressful situations and when communicating with staff, coaches, and the public.
  • Remain cooperative, congenial, and service-oriented.
  • Work effectively in an environment with frequent interruptions and noise.
  • Ability to show tact and diplomacy in stressful situations.
Athletics-Related Responsibilities
  • Communicate with Transportation Department to prepare for home and away games.
  • Prepare weekly athlete eligibility reports in collaboration with the Computer Department.
  • Prepare athletic awards at the end of each season for all sports.
  • Records and assists in preparing all documents related to annual Title IX reporting.
  • Prepare and manage extra-curricular contracts for all athletic coaches and Building Activities.

Work Year: Full-time position - 12 months, 261 days, 8 hours each day. Within the 8 hour schedule, 30 minutes will be unpaid for lunch giving a total of 7.5 hours paid daily.

Manual dexterity to prepare mailings and/or use office equipment
