Description Puget Sound Educational Service District seeks a Administrative Assistant/Program Coordinator to coordinate AR and Cashiering activities and action plans; monitor Procurement Card program standards; and to provide technical assistance, resources, and ongoing support in the Business Office.

Thursday, June 5, 2025.Essential Functions - Collaborates with others for the purpose of sharing expertise and resources, resolving issues, implementing, and maintaining services and programs.
- Coordinates with external customers for the purpose of developing programs, resolving issues, and maintaining services.
- Coordinates a variety of on-site and off-site events, assessments, workshops, trainings, courses, etc. for the purpose of ensuring necessary department/program outcomes are achieved.
- Embodies the principles and practices that form our culture and commitment to becoming an Antiracist Multicultural Organization for the purpose of meeting the Agency's End: Success for Each Child and Eliminating the Opportunity Gap by Leading with Racial Equity.
- Maintains a variety of manual and electronic documents, files, and records for the purpose of providing up-to-date reference and audit trail for compliance with district, local, state, and federal regulations.
- May oversee the work of other staff for the purpose of ensuring program objectives are met within budget.
- Monitors program components (e.g., procedures and processes, communications, training needs, data, RFP process, grants, contracts for services, events, budgets, and expenditures, etc.) for the purpose of coordinating activities and ensuring compliance with established financial, legal and/or administrative requirements.
- Participates in meetings, workshops, trainings, committees, etc. for the purpose of receiving, conveying, and/or gathering information required to perform functions.
- Prepares a wide variety of written materials for the purpose of documenting activities, providing written reference and/or conveying information.
- Processes documents and materials for the purpose of disseminating information to appropriate parties.
- Provides training and/or technical assistance in assigned subject area to support the facilitation of action plans and/or the adoption of key strategies for the purpose of ensuring services are delivered in conformance with established guidelines, priorities, and needs.
- Responds to inquiries for the purpose of resolving problems, providing information and/or referring to appropriate personnel.

Minimum Qualifications- AA/AAS/Vocational Degree in a job-related field (HS/GED and progressively responsible job-related work experience may substitute for degree).
- Work-related experience in accounting, budget, and/or finance.
- Spreadsheet and database management experience (e.g., data entry, manipulation, analysis and/or report creation).
- Demonstrates an understanding and commitment to using a racial equity lens.
- Experience working with diverse groups toward common goals.
Preferred Qualifications- Washington Association of School Business Officials (WASBO) Certification.
- Experience with accounting and payment systems and practices.
- Ability to work as an active team member and independently.
- Strong communication, organization, attention to detail, collaboration, and customer service skills.
