Youth Leadership Authority (YLA) is a longstanding and impactful boutique non-profit organization, dedicated to encouraging and empowering teens and young adults, ages 11-21 to become well-balanced and self-confident.

YLA, hosts 3 series of 9 youth leadership programs using our whole person approach: Personal Professional, Physical, and Spiritual Development classes, groups sessions and weekend challenges.

  3. Bachlors Masters Eagles Guard Series

YLA works alongside multiple community partners, such as; the United States Marine Corps, the Navy SEALs, the Henderson police and fire departments. As well as a team of professional personal and spiritual development coaches.

We also participate in many community service projects to give back to the community that so generously pays for all of our students to attend our programs. Our community service program centers around veterans, first responders as well as our senior community. All students must contribute 24 hours of community service to receive our programs at no cost.

Role Description

This is a 30-40 hours a week (Season/Program dependent) on-site or field role for an Administrative Assistant/Program Coordinator located in Henderson, NV or at program execution areas.

The individual will be responsible for providing administrative support to the Founder, President, Board of Directors, Students and Facilitators.

Duties include managing program calendar, registration paperwork, phone calls with parents, handling executive administrative tasks, and performing various clerical and board duties. Some light booking in needed.

This fun and exciting role requires effective communication and detailed organizational skills to coordinate youth programs and support the daily operations of the organization and team.

  • Strong Email, Phone and Communication skills with team, teens and families
  • Experience in Executive Administrative Assistance
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment who's priority if building teens into heroes
  • Experience working with non-profit organizations is a plus
  • Social Media presence needed
  • A quick starter, positive can-do attitude is a must.
