REPORTS TO: Building Principal
SUPERVISES: None
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
COMPENSATION: Based on Classified Pay Structure
WORK CALENDAR: 208 Days STANDARD HOURS: 8 Hours/Day, 35 Hours/Week
CORP STATUS: Classified
PERF: CPCSC is a Non-PERF District
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Serve as receptionist for the main office: phone and door
- Student Management System - update student information, enter daily attendance/tardies for all students, attendance reports (daily & monthly), maintains on a weekly basis, sends out attendance and tardy letters weekly
- Maintains student files including bus lists and attendance records
- Obtain new student enrollment information, including health and academic records
- Plans and organizes pictures and yearbook
- Helps with building event planning and celebrations
- Assist the nurse in emergency situations
- Record behavior referrals in management system
- Perform other secretarial duties as required by the building principal
QUALIFICATIONS:
- The preferred candidate must have excellent communication and technology skills
- The preferred candidate must maintain confidentiality of all school information
- The preferred candidate will have school secretarial experience
- The preferred candidate must be knowledgeable and skilled using Word, Excel, etc. and have experience with data input
- The preferred candidate must have an excellent attendance record and must be dependable.

- Demonstrate respect for super-ordinates, subordinates and peers
- Support corporation decisions and direction relative to matters of policy and administrative directives.
