Responsibilities
Maintain all personnel files through the weekly filing and logging of all pertinent information and ensure compliance with HR laws and regulations.
Support full-cycle recruitment: interview coordination, pre-employment steps and onboarding.
Knowledge of benefits administration, benefit and employment law, FMLA, ADA, workers compensation law.
Support onboarding and orientation to ensure a smooth and engaging new hire experience.
Support employee relations, documentation, and policy updates as needed.
Accurately track and maintain all employee FMLA (Family and Medical Leave Act) records, reflecting new cases, extension or changes.
Ensure timely compliance with FMLA regulations and company leave policies.
Log and track all employee callouts, disciplinary incidents, and policy violations.
Support candidates through the process of acquiring federal government Public Trust.
Maintains comprehensive knowledge of applicable laws/regulations.
Maintains confidentiality in performing job responsibilities.
Complete employment verification.
Assist with general employment inquiries giving assistance as needed to provide quality customer service.
Support employee engagement and retention initiatives.

Strong understanding of HR principles, practices, and regulations.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with employees and managers.
Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
Possesses a natural curiosity on how systems integrate, and how they can be optimized to enable the candidate experience.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
Strong proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities
Qualifications
US citizen or a person lawfully admitted into the United States for permanent residence and have resided in the U.S. for the last five years.
Minimum of 2-year experience office administration and/or customer service.
Pass a criminal background and consumer credit check.
Obtain and maintain a DHS/ICE government clearance.
Pass all pre-employment and random drug tests.
At least 21 years of age.
Possess a valid state driver's license.
The incumbent must be trustworthy.
Must have intermediate excel experience.
Must have excellent communication skills and writing.
Maintain confidentiality.
Possess a high degree of integrity, accountability.
Demonstrate an ability to work with a diverse population of people, including people of different cultures, with different values and lifestyles, with a cross-cultural perspective.
Maintain current/physical residence in the continental United States.
