GeoLogic is looking for a full-time Administrative Assistant to join our fast-growing firm located in Woodstock, Georgia. We are a dynamic, close-knit team in search of another team player. The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic self-starter who is teachable and willing to learn, with a positive "can do" attitude. This is NOT a remote position.

Position Summary

The Administrative Assistant will be responsible for performing a wide range of administrative functions in order to keep our office organized and running smoothly. We're seeking a hard worker who is detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable with rapidly changing priorities and diverse demands.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Answer and transfer phone calls, screening when necessary
  • Welcome and direct visitors and clients, clean and prep for meetings
  • Receive and schedule shipping and deliveries, retrieve mail from both office locations
  • Create social media post designs and other marketing materials using Canva
  • Assist Accounting Manager with AP and data entry
  • Maintain a system for recording expenses
  • Maintain filing systems
  • Assist with formatting of reports, other company documents, and templates
  • Coordinate and make all arrangements for conferences and expos; organize, track, and pack conference materials
  • Order and maintain marketing supplies, e.g., giveaway items, business cards, and other items as needed
  • Coordinate and schedule travel, meetings, and appointments for managers and/or supervisors
  • Retrieve information as requested from files, email, meeting minutes, and other related documents; prepare written summaries of data when needed
  • Address and resolve administrative inquiries and questions
  • Record and distribute meeting minutes and/or other documentation
  • Maintain office supplies and coordinate maintenance and repair of office equipment
  • Run errands for the company as needed
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
  • Empty kitchen trash and recycling throughout the week as needed
Qualifications

REQUIRED
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
  • Excellent Microsoft Word skills
  • Proficiency with Canva
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Basic understanding of clerical procedures and systems such as record-keeping and filing
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Ability to work for prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Ability to safely lift 50+ pounds at times
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States (confirmed via E-Verify)
  • Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, and OSHA physical
  • Clean driving record
PREFERRED
  • 1-3 years of experience in an administrative role
