Alfred Ruiz, a Private Wealth Advisor with Ameriprise Financial is looking for an Administrative Assistant to join his well-established team. We're passionate about helping clients feel confident about their financial future through personalized planning and investment advice.
What You'll Do: - Deliver exceptional service to clients, in person, by email and over the phone as first point of contact
- Answer incoming phone calls, greet clients, and handle client service requests
- Manage the team calendar and coordinate client scheduling
- Prepare advisor for client meetings and handle follow-up tasks
- Perform administrative duties, scan documents, electronic filing, handle mail
- Process online forms, assist with new business on-boarding, and ensure smooth office operations
- Build strong client relationships and provide personalized client experience
- Compliance training as requested from Ameriprise home office, and ability to follow rules and regulations
- Effective communication with clients, advisor/staff, and Ameriprise home office
- Provide administrative support to the team to meet deadlines and goals
What You'll Need: - Associates degree in relevant industry preferred
- 1-3 years' experience in office administration, client service, or related industry required
- Knowledge of financial industry preferred or willingness to learn
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Detail oriented with a commitment to accuracy
- Strong organizational and time management skills, ability to multi-task and prioritize
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong computer skills and efficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) required. MS Teams and CRM Salesforce a plus
- Notary Public, Bilingual a plus (English/Spanish)
