POSITION SUMMARY

Ability to interpret investor guidelines to ensure proper delivery of loan files and perfection of lien status. Provides support when needed to post closing on mortgage/consumer file handling. Responsible for training new employees on post-closing mortgage/consumer loans.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Audits mortgage loan files, including USDA, VA, FHA, and HOP, verifies the accuracy and completeness of all loan documentation necessary for loan delivery. This includes but not limited to appraisal, title work, insurance, and income documentation. Verifies mortgage loan software input is accurate and complete.
  • Supports post-closing on complex mortgage loan file audits such as USDA, VA, FHA, and HOP loans as well as files for out-of-state properties.
  • Responsible for training newly hired employees and leads by example in knowledge, attitude, and accuracy. Maintains training materials and standard works to ensure these are updated with most recent processes.
  • Responsible for ensuring all time-based items deadlines are met, managing emails and calls.
  • Acts as back-up for manager as needed, i.e., review item for Compliance accuracy, approves My Pay requests, approves GL ticket entries.
  • Maintains dashboards assigned and leads status discussion of loans with manager as needed.
  • Interacts with customers, originators, title companies, and insurance agents, when needed. Ensures follow-up with these parties on missing items.
  • Responsible for the completion of all compliance training related to the position.
  • Must understand all applicable laws and regulations that apply to the position and complies with the requirements.

EXPERIENCE/SKILLS
  • Two (2) or more years of experience in an office environment preferred.
  • Proficiency in MS Office software (Excel, Word) is essential.
  • Good organizational skills.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Able to prioritize workload and handle multiple competing tasks and demands.
  • Ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
EDUCATION

High School Diploma/GED required.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

Minimal or occasional travel for meetings, projects or training as needed.
