Administrative Assistant Overland Park, KS
LHH is partnering with a client in the Insurance industry, in Overland Park, KS, who is seeking an Administrative Assistant. The successful candidate will provide administrative support, manage data entry tasks, and ensure smooth operations within the insurance department. This is a 6-month contract opportunity to assist with an increase in work.
Responsibilities: • Process insurance claims, including verifying the accuracy of information, ensuring all necessary documentation is received, and liaising with insurance adjusters
• Manage policy renewals, including reviewing current policies, negotiating terms with insurers, and communicating changes or updates to policyholders
• Handle customer inquiries related to policies, coverage, and claims, providing detailed information and resolving issues in a timely manner
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all insurance policies, claims, and correspondence in the company's database
Requirements: • Education: Associates Degree required
• Proven experience as an administrative assistant or in a similar role within the insurance industry
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
