They are seeking a Administrative Assistant to join their team. Salary/Hourly Rate: $22 - $24/hr Position Overview: This is a temp to perm, part time Administrative Assistant role. The Administrative Assistant will provide comprehensive administrative and clerical support to the attorneys and staff within the law office. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities of the Administrative Assistant:
  • Administrative Support:
    • Answer and direct phone calls, take messages, and handle correspondence
    • Manage the attorney's schedules, including arranging meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements
    • Assist in the preparation of legal documents and correspondence
  • Client Interaction:
    • Greet clients and visitors in a professional manner
    • Handle client inquiries and direct them to the appropriate attorney or staff member
    • Maintain client confidentiality at all times
  • Document Management:
    • Organize and maintain paper and electronic filing systems
    • Prepare, proofread, and edit documents, reports, and correspondence
    • Ensure proper indexing and filing of legal documents
  • Office Management:
    • Order and maintain office supplies
    • Assist in the organization of office events and meetings
    • Perform basic bookkeeping tasks, including invoicing and reconciling expenses
  • Data Entry and Management:
    • Enter and update client information and case details in the office's database
    • Track deadlines and ensure timely submission of legal documents
Qualifications for the Administrative Assistant:
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and familiarity with legal software
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Education Requirements:
  • High School diploma or GED is required
