Job Description

Central Virginia Community College is located in Lynchburg, Virginia, in view of the Blue Ridge Mountains. CVCC is a comprehensive two-year institution of higher education with an enrollment of approximately 5,000 students in occupational/technical programs and university-parallel/college transfer programs.

Provide support of services and activities for the Amherst Center. Provide prompt and courteous customer service. Assist students with their online accounts, general inquires and refer them for advisement or support services. Assist in maintaining office and student files.

Special Assignments

May be required to perform other duties as assigned. May be required to assist the agency or state government generally in the event of an emergency declaration by the Governor.

KSA's/Required Qualifications

Previous office experience. Experience with Microsoft Office. Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service. Ability to work with minimal supervision and to perform detail-oriented, multi-task work. Excellent oral and written communication skills and strong organizational skills. Must be able to work with a diverse group of people. Must be able to work a flexible schedule.
