General Purpose
To provide administrative and clerical support to ensure the efficient operation of a fast-paced construction office.
Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities
- Working in a high energy environment with the ability to change tasks quickly throughout the day
- printing and organizing blueprint plans
- typing project lists
- data entry
- answering and directing phone calls, taking and distributing messages
- handling inquiries and incoming work requests from other employees in the office
- organizing invoices and entering them into Quickbooks
- creating files, maintaining and organizing filing systems
- filing, photocopying, scanning, and faxing
- sending emails
- processing online postage, preparing and sending outgoing mailings and packages
- monitoring and ordering inventory of office supplies
- keeping office area neat and tidy
- errands as needed
- research as needed
- other tasks as needed
Education and Experience
- knowledge of relevant software applications including MS Office and QuickBooks
- proficient in use of email and internet
- good numeracy skills
- strong spelling skills
- accurate keyboard skills
- construction and HR experience a plus
- high school diploma or equivalent
Must have own transportation
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
