Description
Superior Electrical, Mechanical, and Plumbing, Inc. is a statewide service provider specializing in retail skilled trade services. As an Administrative Assistant with Superior Electrical, Mechanical & Plumbing Inc., you will be the first impression of the company to our clients, vendors and internal staff. The ideal candidate will be able to warmly greet visitors, multitask in a fast-paced environment and provide clerical support to the human resources department. The work schedule is Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Responsibilities - Exhibit polite and professional communication via phone, email, and in-person interactions
- Manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining high-quality administrative support
- Answer, screen, and direct inbound phone calls
- Greet and welcome visitors, ensuring they are directed to the appropriate department
- Process new hire paperwork and the onboarding process
- Perform administrative duties such as filing, data entry, copying, binding, scanning, and emailing
- Prepare and schedule mail pick-ups through commercial carriers
- Maintain office supply inventory by checking stock levels and anticipating needs
- Draft business correspondence and proofread documents to ensure accuracy
- Monitor office equipment and submit preventive maintenance or repair requests as needed
- Stay up-to-date with the company's policies and procedures
- Take on additional duties as needed to support departmental needs
Requirements
- Ability to ensure confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Previous and recent administrative or clerical experience
- Type a minimum of 40 WPM with 100% accuracy
