Description
Superior Electrical, Mechanical, and Plumbing, Inc. is a state-wide provider of skilled trade services. We are seeking a detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our dispatch team. This role is responsible for handling a high volume of data entry, reviewing and recording service technician paperwork, and sending email communications to update customers and internal departments about job orders. The ideal candidate will possess excellent written communication skills, the ability to multitask, and have a background or familiarity with electrical, plumbing, and/or heating and air conditioning (HVAC) industries. The work schedule is Monday to Friday 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Responsibilities - Accurately process a high volume of data entry related to service calls and technician activity
- Review and record service technician paperwork to ensure completeness and compliance with company standards
- Communicate job order updates and scheduling information via email to customers and internal departments
- Collaborate with dispatchers, technicians, and other team members to support efficient workflow
- Maintain organized digital and physical records of service activities
- Assist with general administrative tasks to support dispatch operations as needed
- May be assigned additional administrative duties as needed to support the department
- Prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of one year of clerical experience, preferably in a similar administrative or dispatch-related role
- Strong and accurate data entry skills; must be able to type at least 40 WPM with minimal to no errors
- Familiarity with construction trades such as plumbing, electrical, or general construction is preferred but not required
