JOB SUMMARY

Under general supervision, performs moderate secretarial and administrative support for daily operations to include reporting, administrative projects, scheduling meetings, meeting preparation and special assignments. May involve answering incoming telephone calls, and may handle travel accommodations.

You will:
  • Schedules meetings, appointments and other events; notifies attendees, coordinates travel accommodations and makes necessary arrangements.
  • Drafts confidential correspondence, edit documents, takes and transcribes minutes of meetings, and performs other administrative and secretarial duties.
  • Promptly and courteously answers telephone calls. Provides effective and efficient assistance to callers and distributes messages as necessary.
  • Organizes and maintains files of supervisor's correspondence and records, following up on pending matters.
If You Are:
  • Able to exercise a high degree of initiative, judgment, discretion and decision-making to achieve objectives including the ability to handle highly confidential issues.
  • Demonstrates a high-level of integrity and a pro-active approach to customer service.
  • Working knowledge of computers, including MS Word and Excel and proficiency in Outlook and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to handle complex assignments under minimal supervision
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate clearly both written and verbally.
  • Mathematical ability to add, sub-tract, multiply, divide whole numbers, decimals, and fractions.
  • Ability to be detail-oriented
  • Must be able to work effectively both independently and with others.
