MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Receive incoming calls for MCCNO's main line, Event Services line, and Exhibit Services line.
- Provide assistance to callers in a manner that reflects favorably on the MCCNO.
- Answer phones in a professional and courteous manner, transfer calls to the appropriate personnel/department, take complete and accurate messages for unavailable personnel and communicate messages in a timely manner.
- Assist callers with requests and/or direct callers to appropriate personnel as warranted.
- Stay informed of all event-related information so that information is disseminated in a prompt, accurate manner.
- Intercept calls for Exhibit Services, dispatch requirements to appropriate departments and follow-up to ensure fulfillment.
Provide administrative support and assistance to Event Services Division.
- Review accounts in the Event Management System on a daily basis for accuracy and update accounts with vendor information.
- Provide assistance to event exhibitors including, but not limited to, exhibitor requests, invoice correspondence, and order inquiries.
- Provide assistance to event management and Food & Beverage partners including, but not limited to, event data entry, attendee inquiries, and invoice correspondence.
- Assist with maintaining and archiving Event Services files while ensuring that data is easily retrievable.
- Assist with maintaining office supply inventory and organization of supply closets.
- Assist with compiling and updating Event Services Standard Operating Procedures.
- Assist the Event Services team with other initiatives as needed to ensure departmental objectives are met.
Assist the Business Center and at times act as the Business Center Associate during events to allow for an efficient workflow.
