Administrative Assistant to support our
Architecture department in
Montgomery, AL. You will have the opportunity to work in a creative environment in a family-oriented workplace alongside people who are passionate about our company and our community.
Essential functions and responsibilities: We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as an Administrative Assistant. As a key member of an active, enthusiastic and growing office, this role will have a significant impact through a variety of duties including, but not limited to:
- Serve as the first point of contact for the Montgomery Architecture Department; either through telephone or face to face
- Provide general administrative support to various departments within the organization
- Assist with data entry, filing, scanning, and organizing documents
- Coordinate meetings and appointments, including scheduling and sending out reminders
- Assist with event planning and logistics
- Perform basic research tasks as needed
- Coordinate the stock of supplies and equipment for day-to-day office operations
- Collaborate with team members on special projects as assigned
Minimum Qualifications: - Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
Preferred Qualifications: - Previous office or administrative experience is a plus
- Familiarity with office equipment such as printers, copiers, and fax machines
- Knowledge of basic office management software and tools
- Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and tasks
