Key Responsibilities

As the Administrative Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring efficient operations across various city functions:
  • Finance & Accounts Payable: Organize invoices, track receipts, and maintain accurate financial records.
  • City Clerk Support: Assist with records management, licensing, and election-related administrative duties.
  • Community and Economic Development: Support permitting processes, agenda preparation, and agreement tracking as well as take minutes in Board meetings.
  • Communications: Manage social media posts, update the city's website, and assist with community engagement efforts.
What We're Looking For

We're seeking candidates with:
  • A high school diploma or GED and prior administrative or secretarial experience.
  • Proficiency with office software, including Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent organizational, multitasking, and customer service skills.
  • A positive, collaborative attitude and a commitment to excellence.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements

This position primarily involves office-based tasks, including computer work, communication, and occasional light lifting (up to 10 lbs).
