Stanbridge University is seeking a detail-oriented, customer service-driven individual with experience in events and administrative support for the position of Administrative Assistant for Student Orientations. This role is ideal for a motivated self-starter who thrives in a collaborative environment and enjoys helping others succeed.
In this role, you will lead the coordination and hosting of New Student Orientations, support incoming students during their early days at Stanbridge, and provide administrative support for Media & Communications events.
Essential Functions - Schedule all New Student Orientations and communicate schedules with incoming students, staff, and faculty
- Host hybrid orientation sessions via Zoom and in person across our Irvine, Riverside, Alhambra, and San Diego campuses
- Coordinate on-campus orientation days including campus tours, catered lunches, and classroom sessions
- Provide administrative support for orientations, including managing communications and maintaining student records
- Travel between all four Southern California campuses, as needed
- Assist the Media & Communications department with meeting and event preparation and coordination
Qualifications - Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail
- Outstanding customer service and interpersonal skills
- Confident and professional public speaking abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency with Zoom (scheduling, screen sharing, managing breakout rooms, recording sessions)
- Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite is a plus
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Availability to work evenings and weekends as needed
- $21-$23/hr. (Compensation is based on education and experience.)

- Able to read fine print and operate a computer with precision
- Must lift, carry, and/or move objects weighing 10-25 pounds as needed
