Job Responsibilities: - Provides secretarial support including typing, composing and proofreading, and transcribing correspondence.
- Answers telephone, screens calls, refers callers/visitors to appropriate individuals.
- Processes incoming and outgoing mail. Opens, sorts, and prioritizes correspondence.
- Maintains appointment books for meetings and patients, and makes travel arrangements.
- Assists with the preparation of materials, agendas, notes, and handouts.
- Maintains files and equipment. Orders office supplies.
- Assists other staff as requested.
- Participates in educational activities and programs.
- Performs other duties as assigned or requested.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience: Two to three years of administrative/secretary experience in a health care setting preferred.
