IAI North America is located in Herndon, Virginia, and is a small company with big ambitions. We are looking for an Administrative Assistant to provide administrative support to the CEO and to the Director of Contracts. The ideal candidate is a self-starter, extremely organized with excellent time management skills. Trustworthy, with a high degree of professionalism and discretion, has strong communication skills and is comfortable wearing multiple hats.


Essential Functions

  • Manage all front-end clerical and administrative duties
  • Manage the CEO's calendar, schedule meetings, and coordinate travel logistics
  • Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism
  • Prepare meeting agendas, take notes, and track action items
  • Support the Director of Contracts with administrative duties, tasks, and coordination/management of special projects and events
  • Help manage priorities and follow-ups
  • Act as "gatekeeper" for direct access to the CEO's time and office.

Qualifications

  • Strong organizational skills that reflect the ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly with excellent attention to detail.
  • Very strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with staff and internal and external partners.
  • Ability to work independently and think critically.
  • Flexible, positive attitude and a good sense of humor.

Education and Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 1 to 3 years' experience as an assistant preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point), Adobe Acrobat, and Social Media web platforms.
