Overview:
IES Residential is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support daily operations and maintain a welcoming and efficient office environment. This individual will be the first point of contact for visitors and callers and will provide critical support to ensure smooth communication, scheduling, and administrative workflow.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Serve as front-desk receptionist: answer, screen, and direct calls using a multi-line phone system
  • Coordinate and schedule appointments and meetings
  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and courier services
  • Perform data entry, document formatting, and light reporting tasks using Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Maintain organized digital and paper filing systems
  • Support general office tasks and special projects as assigned
  • Communicate with internal teams and external partners with clarity and discretion

Specific Qualifications
  • Minimum 1 year of administrative or receptionist experience, ideally in a fast-paced setting
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Familiarity with electrical contracting or construction industry a plus, but not required
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus, but not mandatory
Additional Requirements:
  • Reliable transportation to and from the office
  • Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times
