This role is central to maintaining a welcoming, organized, and responsive school environment for students, families, and staff. We are looking for a professional who thrives in a fast-paced school setting, brings prior administrative experience, and is committed to supporting the success of our school community.
Key Responsibilities - Serve as the first point of contact for students, families, and visitors at the front desk
- Provide daily administrative support to the principal, including scheduling, correspondence, and calendar management
- Manage school records and maintain accurate student information using district systems (e.g., PowerSchool)
- Communicate clearly and professionally with families and staff
- Coordinate logistics for school events and activities
- Assist with attendance, transportation inquiries, and other front office tasks as needed
Preferred Qualifications - Prior experience as an administrative assistant, preferably in a school setting
- Proficiency with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Calendar, Gmail) and student information systems (PowerSchool preferred)
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and maintain attention to detail in a busy environment
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact respectfully with children, families, staff, and community members
- High level of discretion and commitment to confidentiality
