Position Summary:
Knobelsdorff is seeking a proactive and highly organized Administrative Assistant to support the Vice President of Energy. This key role will be instrumental in ensuring the seamless execution of daily operations, helping drive departmental efficiency and supporting strategic initiatives. The ideal candidate will be a skilled communicator, problem-solver, and detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-level administrative assistance to the VP of Energy, including managing calendars, meetings, emails, and travel arrangements
- Prepare and edit reports, presentations, correspondence, and other documents
- Act as the liaison between the VP and internal/external stakeholders
- Organize and coordinate department meetings, including agendas and materials
- Take detailed meeting notes and drive assigned action items to completion
- Track deadlines, deliverables, and key performance indicators
- Assist in monitoring project timelines and milestones
- Collaborate with divisional leadership on key initiatives and projects
- Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and improve efficiency
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in administrative support, preferably supporting executive leadership
- Experience in the energy, construction, or engineering sectors is a plus
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Professional discretion, integrity, and confidentiality
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to sit, stand, kneel, stoop, walk, and sit for extended periods of time
- Must be physically capable of lifting and carrying up to 25 lbs.
