Our client is seeking a highly organized and professional Administrative Assistant to join their team on a contract-to-hire basis. This position will sit onsite in Columbus, OH with parking provided. This role is essential to maintaining smooth front desk operations, including answering phones, greeting guests and signing for packages. This position will also support some paperwork tracking for the team, auditing timesheets for payroll, and processing expense reports. The ideal candidate will be able to start quickly and bring a positive and efficient presence to the front desk.
Responsibilities:
- Manage incoming calls, direct them to the appropriate departments, and provide information as needed.
- Welcome visitors, ensure they are directed to the correct locations, and maintain a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Receive and sign for packages, ensuring they are delivered to the correct recipients.
- Assist other staff members with paperwork, including entering into system, filing, organizing, and distributing documents.
- Review and audit timesheets for payroll accuracy, ensuring all entries are correct and complete.
- Handle the submission and processing of expense reports, ensuring timely and accurate reimbursement.
Qualifications:
- At least two years of experience in a front desk or administrative role.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Professional and friendly demeanor.
- Ability to start quickly and adapt to new environments.
