Investment Grade Private Credit
Investment Grade Private Credit group manages an approximate $6.1 billion portfolio of unregistered fixed income securities across traditional private, credit tenant lease, project finance and transportation segments. The group is responsible for evaluating structure and relative value, executing primary and secondary trades, performing portfolio management and performance attribution analysis.

Bank Loans
The Bank Loan group manages approximately $3.7 billion in below investment grade broadly syndicated loans. The group manages eight funds including six Collateralized Loan Obligations (CLOs), one mutual fund on the Jackson Variable Annuity Platform and one separately managed account. There are five portfolio managers in the group that are responsible for these funds. There are nearly 400 loan investments under management. The group tracks all information flow from agent banks regarding all new and existing loans.

Job Purpose
The Administrative Assistant for the Investment Grade Private Credit ("IGPC") and Bank Loan teams at PPM America is responsible for the organization, maintenance, cataloguing and continual downloading of the team's offering materials, correspondences and documents. This role evaluates current processes as well as develop and maintain existing systems for document storage, and is responsible for document security and access, ensuring only the appropriate individuals have permission to access the files.

Essential Responsibilities
  • Download and retrieve documents from multiple sources, including databases and emails
  • Catalog and store documents in appropriate folders/locations, adhering to regulatory requirements for record retention and making the documents easily accessible to team members
  • Respond to team member requests for documents and information
  • Maintain confidentiality and security of information, assigning access only to the appropriate individuals
  • Schedule and maintain calendar of appointments, meetings, travel itineraries and coordinates related arrangements
  • Perform a wide range of general administrative duties including, copying, scanning, filing and processing invoices
Desired Skills & Experience
  • Outstanding organizational and time management skills
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills including the ability to edit and compose correspondence
  • Solid interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with senior management and peers
  • Solid PC skills including Microsoft Office
  • Ability to prioritize, coordinate multiple activities and follow up on projects with minimum supervision
  • Ability to handle sensitive confidential information
  • Independent professional with exemplary attention to detail
  • Bachelor's Degree or Associate's Degree preferred
Required Skills & Experience
  • High School Diploma or equivalent (G.E.D) required
  • 3+ years of administrative experience in financial services, legal or professional services

$28.85 - $40.87
